Jack Does Cars: Ya know, I kinda think, “Cherry Bomb,” wasn’t really that good.
Other Person: Well, it’s an experimental piece, it’s not supposed to be loved by everyone.
JDC: Oh yeah, well the automotive assembly line was an experiment, and it’s a massive success.
OP: What are you on about?
I then walked away because I felt like a complete idiot.

It was strange. I do like part 1 of 2SEATER and I also like DEATHCAMP. It is nice seeing a rapper doing something different than the usual ‘drum beat + auto tune voice' thing.

I thought Cherry Bomb was interesting. A mix of experimental styles, that still showcased Tyler as Tyler. Honestly, though, I’d rather listen to KRIT’s Cadillactica than Tyler’s Cherry Bomb. If we’re comparing semi-experimental albums, I think Because The Internet was more interesting than Cherry Bomb, but I still appreciate it.

I think by Cherry Bomb i was kind of over Tyler and OF in general. Never gave it a real chance. Maybe i’ll give it a listen sometime soon.

You are obviously not wrong, because you can’t be wrong about opinions. I on the other hand LOVED cherry bomb. To each their own! I also HATE assembly lines?

I really like SMUCKERS and DEATHCAMP, but was otherwise unimpressed.

True, I’m a big fan of SMUCKERS and DEATHCAMP.

I agree on all levels, but I’d go with To Pimp a Butterfly, Because the Internet, and Cherry Bomb.
But those are personal opinions.

I listened to Goblin, Wolf, and then Cherry Bomb in a row when i first got into OF. It was weird going from the first two really dark albums to Cherry Bomb where things just got weird. It’s not that I don’t like it, I just prefer Goblin and Wolf, and even Bastard. But like others have said, I appreciate what he did.
